Cornhole Tournament
“Anyone can play, anyone can win” — that’s the motto of the American Cornhole League (ACL.) You’ve seen it on ESPN, and it’s the fastest growing sport in America. Clubs have been forming for years allowing people the opportunity to compete in a more competitive way than in the backyard.
585 Cornhole started in September 2017 at the Scottsville American Legion and now plays at a warehouse (sponsored by Blue Toad Cidery) on 120 Mushroom Blvd in Henrietta. It’s one of Monroe County’s earliest cornhole clubs and is bringing competitive cornhole to Sodus Point for Summerfest on Sodus Bay.
Partnering with the Sodus Point Summerfest, 585 Cornhole hopes to continue to promote the sport to bring more players not only to their club but to clubs all over the area. The goal is to bring in as many teams to the event as possible with a max of 80 teams.

With its proximity to the Rochester water basin and the Salmon River, tremendous fishing is usually to be had within a few short miles from the port. It’s no wonder why many teams bring limit catches to weigh-in year after year.
